Sarah Hemphill is a Jackson Hole native who discovered her love of movement from a very early age when she started her dance training at her local studio Dancers’ Workshop.
She holds a B.F.A in Modern Dance from the University of Utah and has been teaching dance and movement classes throughout the valley for over 15 years.
In 2012 she received her comprehensive certification through Balanced Body University. Sarah strongly believes that because of her lifelong background in dance and movement, her classes may have a different approach as she is constantly pulling from the many years of studying the body in motion.
Sarah is the Pilates Program Director at Dancers' Workshop and also a member of Contemporary Dance Wyoming.
Throughout her dance career she has had the great honor of working with many distinguished choreographers including David Dorfman, Kaye Richards, Deborah Hay, Sara Rudner, Tandy Beal, Trisha Brown, Doug Varone, Babs Case, Fran Romo among others.
Please contact sarah directly at sarah@dwjh.org to schedule an appointment for either pilates or private dance instruction.
